DAKSHI Working Committees
DAKSHI operates through Seven dedicated Working Committees, bringing together students from diverse colleges and universities. Each committee is led by a Head and a Co-Head, providing structured leadership and peer mentorship. Designed to offer holistic practical exposure, these committees enable students to develop real-world skills in creative execution, organizational management, and academic research centered on Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS).
The Report Compilation Committee:
The Report Compilation Committee serves as the analytical and record-keeping backbone of DAKSHI. It is responsible for meticulously assembling monthly and annual performance reports, tracking member attendance, and monitoring participation across all initiatives. By systematically managing organizational data, the team ensures transparency, accountability, and seamless documentation of every event. Additionally, it provides actionable insights to leadership to help streamline ongoing projects and evaluate overall impact.

Social Media Committee:
The Public Reach and Networking Committee:
The Social Media Committee leverages digital platforms to amplify DAKSHI’s mission and widen its reach among young audiences. It designs visual content, informative posts, and interactive campaigns that present Indian Knowledge Systems in a fresh, digital format. By managing official channels, the team keeps followers updated on upcoming events, achievements, and educational highlights. Its creative outreach bridges traditional knowledge with contemporary digital culture, building an active online community of enthusiasts.
The Public Reach and Networking Committee focuses on building strategic alliances and expanding DAKSHI’s footprint across academic institutions. It connects with universities, research centers, youth organizations, and prominent thought leaders to foster collaborative opportunities. By executing targeted outreach programs and media relations, the committee increases public awareness of the organization’s vision. Its efforts establish a strong, interconnected network of students and institutions dedicated to promoting IKS.

The Competitions Committee:
The Competitions Committee creates dynamic platforms to engage youth with the rich heritage of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS). It conceptualizes and executes interactive events such as quizzes, debates, declamations, and creative writing contests tailored for university students. By blending traditional wisdom with contemporary topics, the committee encourages critical thinking and active cultural participation. Its efforts help make ancient insights accessible, relevant, and inspiring for the modern student community.
Seminar and Discussions Committee:
The School Students Committee:
The Seminar and Discussions Committee drives intellectual engagement by organizing regular academic forums, book reviews, and panel discussions centered on IKS. Each month, it brings together scholars, students, and subject experts to explore diverse topics spanning ancient science, philosophy, literature, and governance. The committee fosters open dialogue, encouraging members to examine traditional concepts through a modern lens. Through these structured conversations, it cultivates a vibrant research-oriented culture within the organization.
The School Students Committee extends DAKSHI’s vision to younger learners by organizing foundational programs in secondary schools. It designs interactive workshops, cultural activities, and introductory sessions to spark curiosity about Indian heritage from an early age. By collaborating with school administrations, the team creates engaging learning experiences that complement standard curricula. This committee acts as a vital bridge, nurturing awareness, leadership, and cultural pride in the next generation.
Finance Committee:
The Finance Committee manages the financial ecosystem of DAKSHI to ensure operational stability and resource optimization across all activities. It prepares detailed project budgets, tracks day-to-day expenditures, and maintains transparent financial records for every initiative. The team also explores funding opportunities, sponsorships, and institutional grants to support large-scale student projects. By maintaining fiscal discipline and accountability, the committee enables the smooth execution of all organizational goals.
